"A Short Story About Hands" by Casey Donahue is an amusing short film that addresses the uncertainty of adult relationships and the influence of male role models. Donahue, who wrote, directed, and stars in the film, tries to become a "man" like his father by hardening his hands so that he may face his fiancé, whom he loves so much it "scares the hell" out of him. He retreats to the woods and touches everything--from rocks to trees to dirt--in an effort to strengthen himself. Yet to no avail. Disenchanted and in the woods, Donahue is discovered by a hairy, woodland messiah (with beautiful, delicate hands) who offers life changing advice. Watch below!
