Monochromatic Jokes.

American artist Richard Prince, most known for his "re-photography" works, created the series "Monochromatic Jokes" in the late 80s. Through silkscreen with acrylic on canvas, the artist relayed dark comedic lines on single color canvases. He created an interesting juxtaposition between his black comedy jokes and the vibrant, colorful ways in which they are printed.
