In their latest commercial, Galaxy Chocolate resurrected the fashion arbiter, tireless humanitarian, and legendary actress, Audrey Hepburn, to endorse their chocolate bars. The commercial uses footage from Roman Holiday to create a story in which the demure Hepburn is stranded on a bus in Italy. She peers at her bar of Galaxy chocolate longingly and, in an act of sudden impulse, hops off the bus and hitches a ride with a stranger. Since the commercial went viral, there has been much dispute over whether the video is a tasteful affirmation to the deceased actress's name, or an advantageous move made by a greedy corporation. Whether you agree with Galaxy's free use of Hepburn's persona or not, one thing is for certain, this video is a stunning example of modern day CGI. Galaxy's commercial relies heavily on computer generated imagery to make the alluring Hepburn just as angelic as she once was on the silver screen.
