Alejandro Sordi creates some of the most intriguing works of pop-surrealism I have ever seen. His style is distinct both in his bold color palette and figural depictions. Yet the subject of Sordi's paintings are what seem most enticing. Creatures, such as enormous blue bunnies (above) and beheaded people (below) trump through surreal environments, painted in the midst of one action or another. Often subjects have third eyes, either emitting from their foreheads or bursting from their chests. Either way, each of Sordi's paintings is as unique and captivating as the next.
