One Time Mistake Turned in to Forty Year Tradition

This is a meme waiting to happen. Retired P.E. teacher, Dale Irby, wore the same exact outfit for over forty years of yearbook photos. It began in 1973, when he began his career at Prestonwood Elementary School and wore his brown sweater vest and collared shirt. The following year, on accident, Irby wore the same outfit for photo day. Initially he was embarrassed by his mistake, but his clever wife dared him to do it again the next day and suddenly a tradition was born. From 1973 to 2012, the teacher, now 63, donned the same outfit for every single yearbook portrait. Absolutely fantastic.
