Joris Kuipers.

Dutch artist Joris Kuipers originally studied traditional painting and fine art techniques at Arnhem Academy and the Frank Mohr Institute in Groingen. However, the artist's most recent works reflects the kind of loose and enigmatic aesthetics found more frequently in college's modern art programs. Nonetheless, Kuipers creates with a contemporary sophistication, applying his traditional painting techniques through use of color and paint application, while introducing unique installation methods to create cloud-like sculptures. His layered and painted clusters are arranged in asymmetrical compositions, taking the form of obscure clouds, flower assemblages, altered geographic systems, or some other-worldly from.
