40 Days dans le Désert. |
Moebius (aka Jean Giraud) was a French artist, cartoonist, and writer who worked in the Franco-Belgian bands dessinees tradition.* Though Moebius died March 2012, much of his work has resurfaced online recently. I keep bumping in to his comics as they circle the Internet, in particular, images from 40 Days dans le Désert. So far, But it Does Float seems to have the most impressive feature of 40 Days dans le Désert thus far, so I figured I'd share my favorites with you from the bunch. To see more of Moebius's images, view the original But it Does Float feature, here or you can purchase 40 Days dans le Désert here.
*bands dessinees literally means "drawn strips" in French
