Alternative Landscapes. |
Benoit Paille (previously featured here) has always impressed me. He has the stylistic direction and innate aesthetic ability to photograph anything--anything at all--and still make it beautiful. Take, for instance, "Alternative Landscapes." Paille, who seems best known for his portraits of people at the Rainbow gatherings, took to photographing a glowing square suspended in nature--without the use of photoshop. According to Colossal, Paille's goal was to "redefine what a landscape photograph is by questioning its reality, creating a kind of poetic moment in space and time."
