Drums.

"Drums" took me by surprise. I was not expecting a hilarious, quirky, stop motion-esque video of two children and a grown man playing a small set of drums, but that's what I got and I loved it. Simon Panrucker shot and edited this video starring his nieces. Many people have pointed out that the short film seems to of been inspired by Lasse Gertsen's video "Amateur," however Panrucker points out on his vimeo page, "I don't think I'd seen [Amateur] before making this, or if I had I'd forgotten! I just got excited when I found out my niece had gotten a drum kit and I wanted to make it look like she was instantly incredible - playing really fast drum and bass beats. This was the only method I could think of. But hey, all credit due to Lasse for doing it first. The guy's clearly a massive champion!"
