In Celine Artigau's personal series, Goodbye Childhood, luminescent characters wait in solitude within urban landscapes. Their glowing figures are meant to represent the souls of the areas they haunt and the ghosts of Artigau's childhood. As Artigau describes it on her website, the creatures are like "…some lonely and abandoned imaginary friend that still follows me and haunts my life."
