No You Won't |
You know when you set a goal, and in the back of your mind you are well aware that you won't succeed, yet nonetheless you force yourself to stay positive? François Xavier Saint Georges has taken this abstract idea and turned it in to a concrete work of art. In his series, No You Won't, Georges takes plaster, paper, prints, and wire to create a series of "descriptive burning taglines." On his website, he explains, "NoYouWont is part of visual experimentation I do...As long as you think you can do something, a burning reminder blows you[r] dream off." You can watch the videos of his installation here.
