Okay, so this is too
cool. Off the coast of Japan, rippling geometric sand patterns appeared. Using
underater cameras, a scuba team discovered that the artist for the six-foot
circular patterns is a small puffer fish. It swims throughout day, shaping the
sand with its fin. Apparently, the small hills it shapes attracts a female, and
two law eggs in the circle’s center. Nuts, right? For more info check out Spoonand Tamago and Colossal. (via Colossal)
