Alex Prager.

Chances are, you’ve probably heard of Alex Prager or seen her work before. She created Touch of Evil, a short video gallery of cinematic villainy featuring the year’s best performers (2011). Though she was the creative director for the video, Prager normally takes photographs. Self-taught, she draws inspiration from pulp fiction—like directors Alfred Hitchcock and Douglas Sirk. Truly a creative visionary, Prager’s works offer unique narratives with a hint of nostalgia.
