A prominent 20th century American illustrator, J.C. Leyendecker had created countless posters and magazine covers throughout his lifetime. He is best known for his trademark character, The Arrow Collar Man (below), and various covers he created for The Saturday Evening Post. Between 1896 and the time of his death in 1951, he produced more than 400 magazine covers.
